Resident Evil 6 Impressions/Review

Ok, let me start by saying that the game looks like shit on standard definition. Why am I playing on standard definition when I have an HDTV? I don't know either. Moving on, I started the game and the sensitivity on the damn  right stick was too damn high! I go into the menus to change it, only to find that the menus are Resident Evil puzzles themselves. WTF? How the fuck do I lower the sensitivity? Ok, I solved the sensitivity puzzle. 1st you go change game settings, then you go to change camera settings. Select the eye looking icon. Once in there select set aiming speed. Now you can select a sensible number like 5. Mine was set to ten and my sights were all over the damn screen. Now you can only control the speed of the right stick when aiming. What does that mean? Well, if you're not aiming at anything when using the right stick, your view or camera will be all over the place. Feels like a god damn Playstation 2 joystick and we know how shitty those were for shooters. Fuck this game. Moving on. The game has a lot of QTE in it. QTE? Quick Time Events noob. Quick Time Events require to rotate your joysticks in a certain direction or tap a button within a certain time frame or you die. I rather enjoyed the way they handled the QTE in this game. Doesn't make up for the crazy sensitivity on the right analog stick (*Joe Pesci voice* "you mothafucka you.") There were some thrilling cinematics followed by some QTE which I really enjoyed. Ok, after you beat the prelude you can play Mercenaries. I chose Jake who is supposed to be Weskers son from what I hear. He looks like a Russian crack head if you ask me. I wasn't expecting much from Mercenaries mode, but man was I surprised. After you get use to the controls the game is hella fun! You get skill points from surviving the Mercenaries mission. Unfortunately at the moment there is only one map for Mercenaries, unless you pre-ordered the game from Gamestop. Ok, figured out how to set up the camera like the old RE games(RE 4, RE 5). Go to game settings, change camera settings, then go to set camera speed and change it to 5. Now the camera will not give you motion sickness.
