Sometimes you feel like getting on Gears and smashing some heads in, but there's always a problem. Most of your friends are not on or they're playing some other games. So you decide to take a chance on the human cesspool that is playing with randoms, or "Randis" on XBL. Next thing you know you're stuck with a team full of bad Randis that don't know what the hell they're doing. Here is a list of things you can do to not be the bad Randi holding the team back and causing everyone to rage quit.
1.Provide cover fire or assisting fire. Keep the enemy from moving around freely, and if you see a team mate of yours in a fight, assist him, don't just stare at them. What are you doing? SHOOT! for Christ sake.
2. Rally Forth! Remember this is a team based game. If you're going to take a high valued location move together and take it . More than likely the whole opposing team will be waiting for you there.
3.Location,location,location. Know your surroundings. Know where the power weapons are and what they are. Most importantly use them. Don't be the Randi that gets the power weapon and doesn't use it. Remember, the high ground is always the most valuable location on the map, so own it and camp it.
4.Spot. Spot every enemy you see; that enemy you didn't spot could be the enemy that shoots you, or a team mate in the back.
5.Respect. Respect the Bolstok pistol. Use it every map that it's made available. This gun owns and easily downs or restricts the actions of other players once they get hit with a single bullet. You get hit with this thing, you feel it and back off for a bit.
6.Communicate. Talk to each other and formulate a plan of attack and most importantly try to stick together.
7. Revive me! When reviving a fellow team mate don't hold down the x button that will only result in you picking up a weapon instead of your team mate. Tap the x button instead that way you wont pick up a weapon accidently.
8.High valued target. Become the high value target.You can do this by picking up a downed enemy.By having a "meatshield" you become momentarily invincible. This will allow you to push back, or even destroy a squad of enemies.
9.The Digger. This is an awesome weapon of mass destruction. Unfortunately, most people suck with it. To use this weapon properly lob the shot up in the air making sure the digger shot lands next to your opponent. If done correctly, the digger should explode as soon as it hits the ground next to your enemy. This is the best method because it doesn't give the enemy any time to move, since he didn't see the digger coming from a mile away.
10. Enemy Reinforcements! When yo hear this it means that the enemy has changed spawns, more than likely they spawned behind you, so watch out.
11. If your team doesn't hate each others guts and plays well together, try making a party. If you do this, I am sure you will own the other unorganized bad Randis and maximize your stats. And remember, don't be a pussy, throw in your smoke greanade and FIGHT!
